I am a London based guitarist, currently studying my MA in Jazz Guitar at Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
I have been playing live and recording regularly around the UK and abroad for over a decade, as well as teaching private students and classes for 4+ years. I've played a wide variety of music on recording sessions and gigs, and I specialise in blues and jazz, as well as slide guitar. Lesson topics are catered for all abilities and include melody, harmony, rhythm, soloing, lyricism, improvisation, notation, advanced techniques, playing in groups & more.
I'm also an experienced audio engineer in both studio and live environments including recording, mixing, FOH, monitors, systems tuning and line array flying. This combined with my BSc (1st Class Hons) in Popular Music Production gives me a unique angle to teaching, applying skills invaluable for today’s musicians. I've worked for and with engineers such as Nick Taylor (Disney+, Netflix), Sage Anthony (Buddy Guy, Christone Ingram) and Freddie Light (Kendrick Lamar, Elton John) and in studios such as Abbey Road, The Ranch Production House and Room With A View.
